The RPF team from Patna arrived in Kolkata on Friday for further investigation into the porn video case. Porn videos flashed on television screens in Patna Junction on March 19 for about three minutes.

The RPF team went to Kolkata as representatives of Kolkata-based private firm Dutta Studio Communications Ltd and failed to arrive in Patna despite being issued a summons.

Danapur RPF Superintendent Prakash Kumar Panda said an RPF team visited the firm's Kolkata office and started an investigation with the help of the West Bengal Police. The team interrogated several employees of a firm involved in displaying advertisements on television screens in Patna Junction. The firm was engaged by the railway in 2019 to handle advertising. It has deployed its three operators at the Patna junction. However, the main control room was set up in Calcutta.

Railways took serious cognizance of the incident and blacklisted the private firm and terminated its contract valid till 2024. Two FIRs have been filed in connection with the case. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has asked railway officials to take a stern stand against the firm.
